Doreen Gaul

Doreen Gaul was 19 at her time of death. She was brutally stabbed and bludgeoned in typical Manson family style.

She was an ex-girlfriend of Bruce Davis and a fellow scientologist and commune dweller.

At her time of death Gaul was living at Thetan Manor, a scientology group house, at 1030 S. Bonnie Brea.

Bruce Davis is most likely either he killer or the instigator of her murder. Davis had been having sex with 9 of the teenaged scientologist girls from Thetan Manor including Doreen Gaul. Gaul had also been sleeping with a black man, a fact which enraged the racist and white supremacist Davis.

A note almost certainly created by Davis was left for the police to find. It is signed "The Zodiac killer" and "Z".
